Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES.

Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities.

Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES  last one hour and cover seasonal topics such as wildflowers, habitats, animal tracking and more. There is a maximum number of 50 participants per hike time. Groups will then be divided into smaller sizes depending on staff and volunteer availability.

Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy.

At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.

DISCOVERY HIKE: Animal Tracking
Who left those tracks? Who put those holes in the tree? Whose poop is that? Take your homeschoolers on a guided hike to find out the answers to these questions as they look for clues that prove an animal was in the area.
