Discover the magic of hiking at night when the full moon lights the way. Will you see glowing eyes? Hear the hoot of an owl? Join us to experience nature at night...New in 2026, we will be adding fun themes to our Full Moon Hikes starting in March and they will be self-guided.  Be sure to come out and join these fun walks.  Well-behaved dogs are encouraged to attend with their owners. 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Homeschool Science Days - Homeschool Science Days: Earth Day
Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES.   Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities.   Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES  last 90 minutes and cover seasonal topics such as wildflowers, habitats, animal tracking and more.  These discovery hikes are guided and will leave promptly at 10 am.  Late guests will have to catch up.  The hikes end at 11:30 am.  Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy. At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.Registration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series.
