1:30 PM - 2:30 PM	"LEON DAY" - Christmas in the Park in June - "Leon Day" - Christmas in the Park in June "Leon Day" is a fun and whimsical observance that marks the halfway point between January and December of each year!  "Leon" is "Noel" spelled backwards, which adds a festive twist to this mid-year celebration.  For Christmas enthusiasts, Leon Day is known for offering a chance to enjoy a little holiday cheer in the middle of the year, whether by starting holiday preparations early or simply indulging in some Christmas-themed music.  SANTA will be joining us to tell stories and get you in the spirit of Christmas - even if it is June!Join us at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park, LARGE SHELTER, to celebrate "LEON DAY" aka the halfway point to Christmas!  The Fairgrounds Recreation Park is located at:  210 Fairground Road, Xenia, Ohio - next to the Greene County Fairgrounds.Picnic tables are available.  Please bring along a chair or cushion for your comfort if you prefer.  See you there!

This FREE, family-friendly event is designed for everyone. Whether you roll, walk, or just want to enjoy the day, there’s something for you.Join us on the dance floor as we play the hits and make sure you participate in the wheel chair races. No problem! This race is for participants of all abilities, with pedal trikes available for use. What party doesn't have food? Yep that's right, we will have FREE hot dogs available as well (while supplies last). This event is made possible through the partnership between Greene County Parks & Trails and Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities, highlighting the power of community collaboration and inclusive recreation.Join us for a day where everyone can roll, race, and celebrate together! 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM	Greene County Bike Tour for Veteran Suicide Prevention - Greene County Bike Tour for Veteran Suicide Prevention This one day ride will showcase the extensive trail system in Greene County with all proceeds benefiting the Greene County Suicide Prevention Veteran Subcommittee.  Planned routes of 10, 30, and 50 miles will be supported with rest stops and refreshments. The Greene Country Trail Sentinel volunteers will be out on the trails throughout the ride to assist the participants.  The ride start time is between 8am - 9am from the Fairgrounds Recreation Center and will pass along the Creekside Trail, The Little Miami Scenic Trail, Xenia-Jamestown Connector and the Ohio to Erie Trail.Each registered participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt for their participation in the event.  Registrations must be received by June 14th in order to receive your shirt.  Registrations after that date will not receive one.
