Bark Ranger Passport Program - Bark Ranger
Do you need another reason to get outside and explore more parks with your furry best friend? This passport will help!
Simply register your dog (or dogs) and come pick up your passport from our headquarters! Easy!
After picking up your passport, the next step is simply visiting all the listed parks with your pup by December 31st, 2025.
As you visit the various parks, periodically stop by our headquarters and show us a photo of your dog at each park to receive stamps in the corresponding section. Once all stamps are collected, show us the completed passport to collect your pups’ prizes!
Your pup will then become an official GCP&T Bark Ranger, win some snazzy gear, and earn major bragging rights! Don’t let them talk too much smack at the dog park!
One passport per pup! Passport books can be picked up on 01/10/25 at our headquarters; the official challenge does not start until 03/01/2025.

The First Annual Greene County "Carry the Weight" 2.2 Ruck, Run or Walk - Carry the Weight 2.2 mile Ruck, Run or Walk Proceeds to benefit local organizations committed to battling suicide Our mission is to honor the fallen, support our veterans, and raise awareness about the critical issue of military and veteran suicide. We carry the weight of those who have served—those lost on the battlefield, on the streets of America, and to their own struggles—by fostering a community of care, compassion, and commitment. Through education, advocacy, and action, we are dedicated to providing the resources and support necessary to help prevent veteran suicide and ensure that no warrior is ever forgotten. Together, we ruck, we carry, and we bear the burden, working toward a future where our heroes find the peace, support, and recognition they deserve.Families are encouraged to "carry the weight" together at this FREE event. Donations will be accepted onsite and will benefit The Service Members Veterans Families (SMVF) subcommittee of the Greene County Suicide Prevention Coalition.
