Each week, we will get our heart rate up and get moving while enjoying the outdoors in our beautiful parks. Walks are guided and self-paced. Greene County Parks & Trails, Fairborn Parks and Recreation, the City of Beavercreek Parks Department and Beavercreek Wetlands Reserve have teamed up to provide walks all over Greene County.Walks are on Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.All walks are rated for difficulty with a 1 being the easiest and a 3 being the most difficult. Rating consider terrain, elevation changes, etc.

Back by popular demand! Join us, and some amazing guest speakers, as we dive into an Urban farming adventure. During this Urban Homesteading series, you will learn the basics of using the space you have to grow produce and more. This series is great for those who live in urban and rural areas and want to learn how to start their own homestead. You don’t need 50 acres to grow your own resources! February Class

Going to the grocery can really put a dent in your wallet in 2026! This session will go over the basics of urban homesteading, preparing you for a bountifully abundant year. getting started can be overwhelming, we will break it all down into easy to follow steps and will help you understand the ins and outs of urban homesteading!

Build
Winter seed starting is a great way to get the start on your abundance for the year! In this session we will start some greens in a milk jug. Soil and seeds will be provided, bring your own milk jugs! We will also discuss different ways you can garden in small spaces with containers and indoor grow towers!
April Class
Grow
Now we are prepared and have started some seeds, we move on to GROW! Abundance in small spaces is achievable! This session will discuss container gardening, soil, and getting the most from the space you have. From 5 acres or 5 feet you can grow abundance!
May Class
Harvest
You've got plants growing and now we prepare for harvest! Our guest speaker is a urban homesteader who is passionate about sharing knowledge with community. They will go through, step by step, the process of preserving your harvest so you can enjoy garden fresh goodies throughout the year!

At Camp Weebalong, we believe nature is for all bodies, all brains and all living beings. This half-day camp will feature all of our summer camp fun in a way that is accessible for people of all abilities! Campers will be paired with a buddy to help guide them through the week's activities. We will explore basic outdoor skills, water safety and fun, critters, rocks and dinos, and all things slimy! Campers will have the time of their lives exploring the outdoors in every way they are able! 5-9 ~ Camp Weebalong (Adaptive) - Camp Weebalong
At Camp Weebalong, we believe nature is for all bodies, all brains and all living beings. This half-day camp will feature all of our summer camp fun in a way that is accessible for people of all abilities! Campers will be paired with a buddy to help guide them through the week's activities. We will explore basic outdoor skills, water safety and fun, critters, rocks and dinos, and all things slimy! Campers will have the time of their lives exploring the outdoors in every way they are able! Due to the individual nature of this camp, caregivers are required to stay with campers and help with all self care, leave the rest to us! After registration, you will receive a questionnaire about your camper's ability level and interests so we can make sure they get the most out of Camp Weebalong!

At Camp Evergreene everyone is welcome to discover the joy, wonder, and adventure of the great outdoors! This inclusive camp is specially designed for tweens, teens, and young adults with disabilities, providing a supportive environment where campers can connect with nature, make new friends, and explore at their own pace.Campers will get to discover all the same things our other camps do like creek play, games, crafts, and even hikes! No matter what your camper needs, we will do our best to adapt our activities to their unique and special needs.

Our parks are for everyone. We are proud to partner with the Greene County Board of Development Disabilities to offer inclusive programming designed to welcome individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and ages. These programs are thoughtfully created to ensure participants feel supported, respected, and empowered to engage at their own pace.Activities are adaptable and accessible, with a focus on fun, connection and participation rather than limitations. Everyone deserves the opportunity to play, explore, learn, and belong! Our inclusive programs are one more way we’re building parks where everyone feels welcome.

Want a fun reason to get out into the parks?? How about a Selfie Scavenger Hunt!? Here's how it will work -* Each month, May - August, we will highlight a specific park and will post pictures of certain landmarks, unique markings, etc.* This will all be posted on Facebook on the 1st of each month.* Visit that park, find those specific landmarks, markings, etc. and snap a selfie with each of them in the background. (We have to be able to see it!)* Upload and submit those photos to this link - https://www.gcparkstrails.com/selfie-scavenger-hunt/* Those who find every hidden item, at each of the parks each month, will receive an awesome prize from GCP&T!(Don't worry, we will keep track of those who submit, but you are more than welcome to create your own fun collection of all the photos you've taken.)
