Wellness Walkers - Autumn/Winter - Wellness Walkers - Autumn/Winter
Each week, we will get our heart rate up and get moving while enjoying the outdoors in our beautiful parks. Walks are guided and self-paced. Greene County Parks & Trails, Fairborn Parks and Recreation and the City of Beavercreek Parks Department have teamed up to provide walks all over Greene County.Walks are on Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.All walks are rated for difficulty with a 1 being the easiest and a 3 being the most difficult. Ratings consider terrain, elevation changes, etc.

Forget deck the halls, we've decked the park with dazzling lights! You'll wind your way through our Winter Wonderland, North Pole Car Show, Winter Farm, and Festive Festival, then wave to Santa at the North Pole as you exit. Drive through once, and you'll want to do it again…as this Christmas event is FREE.Donations are gladly accepted at the wood house at the exit and support the program for years to come.Be sure to make this a holiday tradition! This event is open December 1-31st from 6-9pm

The holiday season can be a busy time, Santa needs all the help he can get making gifts for the special people in our lives.Children, ages 2-9, are invited to attend Santa's Workshop and make gifts for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and more.All supplies will be provided, this is a registration event only. No walk-ins can be accepted.* We will be crafting with non washable paints, please dress accordingly. *This year we will be registering people in time slots to better serve our guests. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your scheduled time slot.

Santa Paws - Santa Paws
It's Santa Paws!!!Well, maybe it is another painting with your dog program, this time it is a Christmas ornament for your tree!Your dog will be painting with the help of some peanut butter, a wood ornament, paint and a plastic bag. And if everything goes as planned, you will have a masterpiece suitable for display on your tree!This is a free program but registration is required. Please note that you do not have to arrive at 1 p.m., there will be enough supplies for those that register. ***PLEASE REGISTER YOUR DOG, not the human***

Homeschool Science Days - Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKE: Animal Tracking
Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES. Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities. Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES last one hour and cover seasonal topics such as wildflowers, habitats, animal tracking and more.There is a maximum number of 50 participants per hike time. Groups will then be divided into smaller sizes depending on staff and volunteer availability. Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine. There is a chance that participants may get muddy.At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.
